To help us give you a better quote please let us know
How many guests you are planning for
To check availability for a date, please let us know the KING table setup (size) and which QUEEN platware collection (dessert stand color) you'd like.
We recommend to plan for 75%-80% of your guests, anywhere from 3-4 pieces each.
Ex: you invited 100 guests, you should plan for 75 to 80 people to actually participate in the dessert table experience.
Also factors to keep in mind:
⚜️ First would be opting for napkins instead of plates so that people will not pile on more than they should when plates are provided.
⚜️ Second would be not placing all the desserts on the table all at once (by choosing a smaller table setup Vs. Larger one) to give the illusion to your guests that it isn’t a never ending buffet of sweets . They will see a small amount and will not try to take more than planned for. (Plan for someone to standby and replenish)
⚜️ Third would be to open the dessert table after the cake is cut. If it is open before the cake, people will “attack” the desserts because they’ve been eyeing it all evening and will want more for their sweet tooth since they have not already had their fill on sweets(cake) . Thus, usually leaving more of the cake behind.
⚜️ Fourth would be hiring an attendant (2 hours- $60)
Attendants:
- make sure people do not take desserts before the table opens
-will pass out the plates or napkins
-will form the line
-will open up the dessert table at the desired time requested and only allow 4-5 at a time to calmly pick their selections
- Will notify guests “only two or three per person please” (depends on amount client decides before hand)
-can replenish Desserts if not all are placed on the table at once
- will rearrange desserts while table is open so that guests do not have to reach all the way to the back to pick their selections
Best time to have an attendant; half an hour before dinner is over because that’s when your guests begin wondering around after they have finished dinner and are looking for something to do! They might be tempted to get into your dessert table a little earlier!
FOR FULL DESSERT AND DELI OR FRUIT TABLESCAPES:
Dates are not guaranteed for a full dessert/ appetizer Tablescape until at least “part 1-setup” is purchased. The sooner the better so that we can get your date in. We have booked up to two years in advance for weddings, however do request for clients to book at LEAST 1-2 months in advance prior to their event date, to best accommodate all events.
FOR DESSERTS WITH NO TABLE SETUP:
All dates are available with the exception of holidays and dates announced on our HOME page.
We do break down the booking into two parts. The first part is the stand set up, the second part is the desserts. You can pay/book both parts upfront. Should you choose to do “payments”, The first item that would need to be purchased would be the stand rental (king table pricing) so that we can set aside those stands for you.
Desserts can be made in “payments” through our online “shop” page.
Let’s say you would like to purchase a total of 600 pieces, but would like to make “payments”Then you would purchase online maybe 100 this month another 200 pieces next month, maybe every two weeks you could purchase 50 pieces, etc. Up until you reach all 600 pieces. Any amount that you put into the cart to purchase asks you for a full payment.
In the end we would gather the total amount of pieces, and you would only get so many selections based on the final total.
This would be the direct link for the Desserts only:
https://aroyalcelebration.com/shop/ols/categories/dessert-packages-without-table-setup
Within this link, we also have the option to upgrade your spoons to gold or silver,
Add custom monograms to your desserts and to upgrade the rim of the shooter cups to gold/silver as well.
You would need to also add the delivery charge to your order if you would like us to deliver your desserts. They would be left in a cake box on the counter/table at your venue.
In case the venue provides stands , and you would actually like us to place the desserts on to the Stands they/you would provide, it would be the following:
We would accommodate desserts on stands provided by client:
1-250 pieces:

250-1000 pieces:

We normally take just enough stands for our standard table. If we arrive and they have the same size standard table then we will gladly use the table they have but most of the time we arrive and they are always too large, too tall, custom random table sizes so our linens do not fit the table(s) OR we show up prepared with the incorrect amount of stands because it might need more or it might be overcrowded. When it is a different size, we have to also re adjust our setup and it does take more time to figure out what works best. So regardless we have to always take our own table and still charge the same rate. There is an option for “no linen” when booking because sometimes we work with wooden/white/glass or mirrored tables. If your table is larger than our standard 6' or 4' tables, please provide us with the dimensions so that we can advise as to which king table setup we would recommend just to ensure that we have the correct amount of stands for the table area.
For outdoor events we do suggest our dome covers or we can do the table/stand set up early before guests arrive and go back during dinner or about 30minutes-1hour before they would be consumed to place the Desserts only so that they can be as fresh and cold as possible, not sure if this is something you might want us to do? We don’t recommend for Desserts to be out for longer than 3 to 4 hours. After four hours it is a health hazard. Especially with heat as a factor, some items do not withstand the heat well.
We can also recommend a list of desserts for you that are friendly for outdoor events.
Usually with plates, although they are small, guests tend to try to fill their plate with as many desserts as they can fit and then also try to build layers, even at times we find guests try to take even two plates. Because of this, we do not recommend either plates or napkins. They can however, be provided at an additional cost and are considered an upgrade. Or they can of course be provided by the client.

We highly recommend an Attendant!
Attendants:
- make sure people do not take desserts before the table opens
-will pass out the plates or napkins
-will form the line to open calmly
-will open up the dessert table at the desired time requested and only allow 4-5 guests at a time to calmly pick their selections
- Will notify guests “only two or three per person please” (depends on amount client decides before hand)
-can replenish Desserts if not all are placed on the table at once
- will rearrange desserts while table is open so that guests do not have to reach all the way to the back to pick their selections
Best time to have an attendant; half an hour before dinner is over.
Best time to open the dessert table:
1. RIGHT AFTER DINNER:
Your guests are full and will not over indulge in desserts, this can be a money saving option being that you can get away with purchasing a less pieces/person. Just make sure to get those photos in before opening!
It's better to open the dessert bar earlier than later so that desserts are not out at room temperature too long. Out of refrigeration more than four hours from the time they were originally placed is a health hazard.
Most are best eaten fresh and cold, for this reason you might opt for desserts to be placed during dinner for a smaller setup.
2. AFTER THE CAKE IS CUT AND PASSED OUT
Cons: Deserts are most likely room temperature and no longer cold and fresh.
Pros: Your guests have had their slice of sugar (cake first), so older crowd might not get back up, and those that do go for more, will not be as "sugar hungry" and tempted to take more than normal.
3. ONE HOUR BEFORE OR AFTER YOUR CAKE
So when opening the table it would be best to leave at least an hour between the cake and opening your dessert table scape so that your guests can have time to dance/walk off the sugar rush of the first item and be well prepared for the second item.
4. AT THE SAME TIME OF YOUR CAKE
This gives your guests the option of both at the same time. Once they see that the dessert table is open, they usually leave the cake and rush to the line because they would prefer to pick their own choice of dessert, it's just more exciting!
Cons: More cake is left behind and it's too late for your guest to decline the cake because it has already been served.
